The Little Book of Good Enough is a tool that will help you tame your inner critic—or, as I like to call it, your “inner tyrant,” as this often feels like a more apt description.

This is a book about that voice in our heads that loves to show up whenever we dare to entertain the thought of doing anything new, brave, or exciting with our lives. It then proceeds to attack our confidence and pretty much make us feel like absolute crap!

Although I’m now a voracious reader, I used to pick up and drop books rather quickly in my younger years. I would buy a ton of books from the Personal Development sections of bookstores, read a few pages or chapters, and then leave them to gather dust. Am I the only one who did this? So, when I wrote this first book, I wanted to make sure I reached the type of reader I used to be, because I sure could have used this book back then!

I want you to read, understand, and act on everything I share in this book, and that’s why it’s called “The Little Book” and not “The Weighty Tome.” Yes, you can read it in less than an hour, but it’s not a light touch, fluffy, feel-inspired-momentarily-but-then-don’t-follow-up-afterward kind of book. It’s action-focused and an invitation to take a journey with me through thoughtful exercises, where you explore and confront the root causes of your own not-good-enough story.
