The Little Book of Good Enough
The Little Book of Good Enough is a tool that will help you tame your inner critic—or, as I like to call it, your “inner tyrant,” as this often feels like a more apt description.
This is a book about that voice in our heads that loves to show up whenever we dare to entertain the thought of doing anything new, brave, or exciting with our lives. It then proceeds to attack our confidence and pretty much make us feel like absolute crap!
Although I’m now a voracious reader, I used to pick up and drop books rather quickly in my younger years. I would buy a ton of books from the Personal Development sections of bookstores, read a few pages or chapters, and then leave them to gather dust. Am I the only one who did this? So, when I wrote this first book, I wanted to make sure I reached the type of reader I used to be, because I sure could have used this book back then!
I want you to read, understand, and act on everything I share in this book, and that’s why it’s called “The Little Book” and not “The Weighty Tome.” Yes, you can read it in less than an hour, but it’s not a light touch, fluffy, feel-inspired-momentarily-but-then-don’t-follow-up-afterward kind of book. It’s action-focused and an invitation to take a journey with me through thoughtful exercises, where you explore and confront the root causes of your own not-good-enough story.
Bonus #1: Little Book of Good Enough Workbook
I put together a workbook companion to The Little Book of Good Enough for any reader who prefers a separate space to work through the exercises from the book. It’s easy to skip over these as you read but I promise you, dedicating the time to reflect thoughtfully on the questions I ask you, will reap big rewards. Remember this is for you, about you, and you are most definitely more than worth it! If you need any support or get stuck anywhere, just reach out and message me!
Bonus #2: Self-Compassion Guided Meditation
Our inner critic can be very noisy at times. We can become entangled in thoughts of “not good enough” and then add an extra layer of self-judgement on top of that – yuck! This guided meditation extends an invitation to you to instead bring compassion and understanding to yourself. It offers a powerful alternative to the judgemental narrative that robs us of our peace and joy. So I invite you to take a short journey with me, to explore how we foster a different relationship with ourselves, one that serves and honors us.

This little book packs a big punch!
Don’t let the size fool you. From Truth Bombs to the Self-Sabotage Spiral; Identifying limiting beliefs to the “Damn, I’m Fabulous” List; to learning how to be more present in your life…this little book packs a big punch! I come back to it often; every time I need a reminder that I AM ENOUGH! I can’t recommend this book enough!
Loved it! Short and sweet, no nonsense advice and guidelines:) Like chatting with a really wise friend over coffee and getting valuable life advice. I plan on sharing the truth bomb nuggets with my friends for sure:) Amazon Customer – 5.0 out of 5 stars
Excellent, thoughtful and thought provoking. Not complicated, blow hard, long winded information. Right to the point. Exercises to quickly get to the core matter and what to do next. Built in affirmations enhance the book. I finished in two days with writing a lot of notes but timing depends on how long you take to finish the exercises. Well worth read! We all need help in defeating that “inner critic.” It is constantly being fueled by society, our own insecurities and doubts…so much that it can be overwhelming, imprisoning, and destructive. “The Little Book of Good Enough” by Eimear Zone is encouraging. It can help the reader overcome that “inner critic”. It is the perfect tool for showing you how to be your own encourager, your own cheerleader, your own life coach. A great book! Thank you so much Eimear Zone, this book has helped me to see the obstacles I have put in my own way to achieving my personal growth. I bought a kindle version but am going to get a paper version. It is so well written, concise and I got so much from it! It can be read in one go. Amazon Customer – 5.0 out of 5 stars
Love this self-help book! This book is a guidebook and workbook in one to help us really own our self worth, and notice the process when we stand in our own way, (which we all do). Great, easy and enjoyable read. I used my journal a lot, too. <3 BJB, Amazon Review – 5.0 out of 5 stars
This book was a life changer! I found this book on Amazon after deciding to do self-reflection and some inner work on myself. Wow! What can I say, but how amazed I was after reading each chapter and doing the exercises. I spent a whole day on the book and didn’t just read it. I wrote down everything that was required after reading each chapter. June Whittle, Amazon Review – 5.0 out of 5 stars
